美股全线下跌，美元受到持续重压

7月30日，欧洲股市和美国股市出现全线下跌，避险情绪再度升温推动美元反弹，但由于全球疫情的蔓延，投资者担心全球经济复苏前景不乐观，美元依旧维持疲软的预期。
日本单日新增确诊病例连续第二天超过1000例。此外据日本放送协会(NHK)报道，7月30日东京都方面证实，当地新增新冠确诊病例367例，创当地单日新增病例数的新高。截至目前，东京累计确诊病例已增至12228例。另据东京电视台报道，鉴于疫情持续扩大，东京都政府计划要求餐饮店和练歌房等商铺缩短营业时间，实施期间为8月3日至8月31日。
美联储7月利率决议重申承诺，将使用“所有工具”支撑美国经济，并将保持近零利率，时间长短取决于经济从新冠疫情打击中复苏的进程，官员们还称经济发展路径在很大程度上取决于疫情的演变。分析认为，美联储9月会议将加强前瞻指引，未来加码资产购买(QE)计划可期，美元指数中长期将保持弱势。
美联储7月利率决议几乎没有改变外汇市场的整体心理，美元疲软的预期依然根深蒂固，更倾向于关注那些落后于美元疲软走势的货币，因此仍关注美元兑日元下行。考虑到新冠病毒事件正在美国各地肆虐，对美元储备货币地位不利。如果说美联储7月决议有什么影响的话，那就是只会强化已经占据市场心理的美元疲软前景论调。
不过日本下调2020财年实际GDP预测，预计GDP将萎缩4.5%左右。日本政府预计到2021财年日本实际GDP增速约为3.4%。日本称，如果海外出现第二次大规模冠状病毒疫情，2020财年日本实际GDP可能收缩5%左右。而日本财务省官员表示，如果日元走强，考虑各种政策工具。
