据央视新闻报道，在美国多州已经陆续重启后，多地新冠肺炎感染病例仍然持续增加。过去一周内，根据美国约翰斯·霍普金斯大学的统计数据，美国有8个州的日均新冠肺炎新增病例都创下新高。
纽约时间下午1:30，纽约商品交易所8月交割的黄金期货上涨1.3%，结算价每盎司1,753美元。美国南部和西南部的新增病例数持续上升，住院率也增加…这引发了人们对政府宣布新一轮停摆措施的担忧，这对黄金有利。
今年迄今，金价已上涨约15%，受经济放缓忧虑引发的避险需求支撑，且政府和央行出台史无前例的财政和货币支持，推低公债收益率，也引发了对通胀的担忧。
高盛周五在研究报告中称，尽管自3月反弹以来黄金一直在努力寻找方向，但仍有进一步上涨的潜力，金价在未来12个月可能达到每盎司2000美元；该行先前的预测是1800美元。
尽管金价迟迟未能突破1750关口，但预计在一段时间的稳定后，金价还是将走高。金价仍然没能突破1750美元/盎司的阻力水平，但整个黄金市场仍然在多年高位附近的震荡区域里。
