金价早些时候在平盘上下波动，因投资者权衡风险偏好回升与美国总统特朗普威胁如果各市和州在抗议活动中未能遏制暴力，则将部署军队的影响。
美国和欧洲股市攀升，因德国总理默克尔拟再推刺激计划，规模或高达1000亿欧元，从而降低黄金吸引力。分析师表示，对经济重启的乐观情绪持续存在，股市持续上涨体现了这一点；在这种前提下，很容易理解黄金可能略显脆弱。
分析师表示，做多黄金的交易非常拥挤，眼下再入场做多或许不是个好选择，我们还是认为黄金多头过多，金价过高，不适合再入场做多。荷兰银行预计未来三个月金价将出现明显下跌，预计二季度末金价在1725美元/盎司左右水平。
不过，也有分析师指出，金价的整体走势是积极的，在3月触及每盎司1450.98美元的近四个月低点后，金价已上涨逾18%，主要受益于疫情引发的经济不确定性以及全球央行的一系列刺激措施。
