金價刷新一周高點，美元表現疲軟

5月29日，由於美元疲軟、市場隊地緣政治局勢惡化的擔憂，黃金出現近兩周的最大漲幅，但由於美國總統特朗普發表的關於中國的講話，美股指數出現回升，金價漲幅有所壓縮，但仍維持高位。
由於特朗普的講話內容此前都已被美國媒體相繼報導，沒有新內容，因此風險資產短線下挫後快速回升，道指一度收復逾1%跌幅。
分析師表示，冠狀病毒及其帶來的經濟效果明顯影響到了工業及珠寶行業的需求，全球75%的白銀需求依賴于消費者開支，而消費者開支則要麼暫時性、要麼永久性地受到了經濟下滑的傷害。與黃金不同的是，隨著主要經濟體逐步解除冠狀病毒疫情期間實行的限制性措施，經濟復蘇的預期可能使白銀價格得到提振。
美聯儲主席鮑威爾週五稱他對經濟前景的看法沒有原來那麼緊張了，但仍然擔心冠狀病毒疫情可能出現第二波爆發。
週四，交易員宣佈有意根據紐約商品交易所6月合約交付280萬盎司黃金，這是該交易所追溯到1994年以來的創紀錄規模的單日交付通知。6月合約對8月合約升水之後，本周跌至遠低於8月合約的水準，這是由於冠狀病毒大流行造成的干擾以及3月份時對實物黃金交割的擔憂吸引了創紀錄的金屬流入紐約。
現在，紐約商品交易所倉庫中有大量黃金，遠遠超出了必要的水準，因此實物交割量的增加可能預示著“風險部門希望確保將風險最小化”。
