失业人数暴增660万，现货黄金短线冲高

4月9日，美国公布了上周初请失业金人数，数据暴增660万，为了拿到政府的补贴，很多美国民众主动“被解雇”，在数据公布后，现货黄金短线冲高，而美元指数则出现明显回落。
具体数据显示，美国截至4月4日当周初请失业金人数实际公布660.60万人，预期550万人，前值664.8万人。美国至4月4日当周初请失业金人数结束三连升，但仍维持在高位。
过去三周，美国申请失业救济金的人数已超过1500万。而截至4月4日当周初请失业金人数约为660万人，较前一周上修后的687万人略有下降，但仍连续两周录得超过600万人，因美国依然采取严格的防控措施导致经济陷入停滞。
美国就业市场长达十年的稳健态势止步于今年2月。3月以来，形势更加严峻，受突如其来的疫情影响，企业停工停产，员工居家隔离，经济活动“停摆”，上千万美国人开始申请失业救济，失业率大幅攀升。
值得注意的是，在这次疫情期间的失业情况中，有一个特殊的现象，很多美国人其实是主动选择被解雇的。因为这样一来，能够申领的失业救济，要高于他们这段期间的工资。
分析人士认为，由于疫情还在蔓延且数据存在滞后性，美国就业市场远未触底，全面损失预计在未来数月显现。
在美国数据公布的同时，加拿大也公布了3月份的就业数据，结果加拿大的数据同样十分惨淡，数据公布之后，由于美国和加拿大的就业数据都很疲弱，因此美元兑加元短线维持在区间震荡。
数据具体显示，加拿大3月就业人数变动实际公布-101.07万人，预期-50万人，前值3.03万人；加拿大3月失业率实际公布7.80%，预期7.5%，前值5.6%。加拿大3月就业人数减少101.07万人，超过2009年初的减少12.9万人，创纪录最大降幅。
疫情暴发后，加拿大各省纷纷宣布了紧急状态，禁止非必需行业继续经营，导致大量人口失业或收入锐减。为解决人们能维持基本生活，加拿大政府向所有因疫情而失业或收入减少、且符合一定条件的人们提供每月2000加元，不超过16个星期的补助。这个被称为疫情应急救助福利。
