3与16日，全球多种资产遭到市场的恐慌性抛售，贵金属全面暴跌，现货黄金出现巨大跌幅，美联储的第二次紧急降息并不能安抚市场的情绪，反而激发了市场对疫情的担忧，美股再度出现暴跌，市场纷纷套现。
大田环球表示，金价起初的上涨是受到美联储降息影响。整个市场都在犹豫，有很多不同的观点，因此投资者们在抛售一切资产，他们只想要现金。
预计金价会走高，但未来几个交易日金价会有很大波动。一切都在变动，金价要一下子涨80美元我也不会太意外。但如果金价不动或者转而下跌，也不会太奇怪。
周一美国国债收益率下降，油价重挫，美股暴跌。道指开跌约2200点，标普500指数开盘即跌超7%，触发熔断，全市场开盘后立即暂停交易15分钟，恢复交易后道指跌幅有所收窄，但尾盘继续下行，截至收盘，道指跌12.94%，报20186.55点，险守二万点关口，标普500指数跌11.98%，报2386点，纳指跌12.32%，报6904点。美国股市录得1929年以来首次连续三天收盘涨跌幅大于9%。
随着疫情继续迅速蔓延，贵金属与更大范围的市场一起遭抛售，一些投资者为满足追加保证金要求被迫卖出资产；工业生产中大量使用的贵金属加入整个金融市场的大跌行情。用于柴油车减排的铂金创历史最大跌幅；白银价格触及十多年来最低水平；去年涨幅领跑所有主要大宗商品的钯金创1993年以来最大六日跌幅。
