疲软制造业支撑金价

12月24日，现货黄金刷线近日来的最高点，除了国际贸易局势缺乏细节而支撑金价外，美国企业设备支出呈疲软状态，市场担忧其会拖累整体经济，同时对美国未来经济的发展有一定忧虑，避险情绪升温支持金价。
即使企业信心在2020年初有所改善，资本支出激增也不太可能出现。波音(BA.N)上周宣布，将于明年1月停产其最畅销机型波音737 MAX喷气客机，这一机型曾发生两起致命的坠机事故。波音公司周一罢免了首席执行长Dennis Muilenburg。在全球经济成长迟滞、贸易政策持续不确定和企业获利能力疲弱的环境下，2020年工业将保持疲弱，波音停止生产737 MAX机型的决定将继续拖累订单。
核心耐用品订单上个月下降了0.3%。在政府的GDP指标中，核心耐用品订单被用来计算设备支出。10月份核心耐用品订单下修为增长0.7%，前值为增长0.8%。经济学家表示，核心耐用品订单疲弱给第四季度GDP增长预期带来了下行风险。预计第四季度GDP年化增长率在1.5%-2.3%的区间。第三季度经济增长2.1%。
尽管制造业举步维艰，但在美联储今年三次降息的推动下，房地产市场正在稳步上升。美国商务部在周一发布的第二份报告中称，上个月经季节因素调整后的新屋销售年率为71.9万套，反弹1.3%，受助于美国东北部和西部地区销售增加。
不过，10月份的销售增速从此前公布的73.3万套下调至71万套。新屋销售月度环比波动较大，因为它们是从建筑许可中选取的一小部分房屋样本来计算的。新屋销售同比增长16.9%。花旗集团经济学家Veronica Clark称，我们预计楼市活动将继续受到目前较低抵押贷款利率和美联储按兵不动的支撑，但预计2020年楼市活动不会进一步大幅升温。
企业投资已经连续两个季度收缩，在设备，以及油气钻井等非住宅结构方面的支出疲软，导致制造业陷入衰退。波音公司20多年来最大的装配线停工预计将扰乱供应链，进一步抑制制造业。经济学家们估计，停产737 MAX飞机可能会使2020年第一季度国内生产总值增幅至少下降0.5个百分点。
