雖貿易形勢較好，但美元也受到打壓

11月11日，全球貿易憂慮仍有，金價有所反彈，而且美聯儲難以尋找提升通脹的舉措，但英國脫歐進程傳來好消息，英鎊暴漲打壓美元，抑制避險情緒蔓延，限制金價漲幅。
分析師說：“在特朗普發表講話後，市場人士對於貿易前景向好趨勢持越發謹慎的態度。儘管如此，市場人士可能依然樂觀認為，美中能夠取得進展，在今年年底前完成部分貿易協議。”
英國獨立黨領導人法拉奇週一宣佈，不會挑戰保守黨在2017年大選中獲得的317個席位。此舉將幫助英國避免二次公投，英鎊兌美元短線暴漲70點至三個交易日新高1.2895。法拉奇還補充道，將在剩餘席位中挑戰工黨和其他黨派。
詹森希望獲得足夠多的選票，以便在議會通過自己與歐盟達成的脫歐協議。考慮到這一點，法拉奇週一的表態顯然是給詹森送去了大禮。暴漲的英鎊緩和了市場對脫歐不確定性的擔憂，黃金價格漲幅有所收窄。
連續進行25個基點的預防性降息，既是因為擔心全球經濟減速的趨勢蔓延，也是為了應對低通脹。全球量化寬鬆熱潮給市場帶來的大部分只是安慰，有投資者擔心，美國甚至可能發生打擊需求的日本式通縮風險。
芝加哥聯儲主席埃文斯表示，通脹預期上升是關鍵。即便薪資在小幅上升，但消費者通脹預期不斷下降，鑒於這種情況，提升通脹看起來是一場硬仗。
紐約聯儲主席威廉姆斯上周五重申了他的觀點，即今年降息應恰當應對貿易紛爭和全球經濟放緩等潛在風險。
威廉姆斯說，經濟數據預示失業率處於低位之際就業市場表現強勁。他還強調，3.5%的低失業率並未引發高通脹。
週五還將公佈美國10月零售銷售和工業生產數據。面對製造業困境及持續數月的貿易緊張情勢，消費者能否繼續推動經濟增長。
需要指出的是，美聯儲偏愛的核心個人消費支出指標在1.6%左右，且自金融危機前以來，大多數時候都低於2%的目標水準，美聯儲也尚未排除2020年再降息的可能性，因此無法輕言美元重新開啟單邊上揚走勢。
