二季度GDP向好，美元指數跳升，金價下挫後回補跌幅

7月26日，美國公佈的二季度GDP資料好於預期，降低美聯儲激進江西可能性，不過美國核心PCE資料不佳，同時該指標最受美聯儲關注。美元指數短暫跳升，現貨黃金下挫後回補大部分跌幅。
具體資料顯示，美國二季度實際GDP年化季率初值錄得2.10%，高出預期值0.3個百分點，但仍遠不及前值3.10%。
不過美國二季度核心PCE物價指數年化季率初值不佳，僅錄得1.80%，低於預期值2%。前值為1.20%。該指標最受美聯儲決策層關注，但一直低於美聯儲設定的2%目標，長期表現不佳。美聯儲下周鐵定降息25個基點。
占美國經濟活動逾三分之二的消費者支出第一季度增長率放緩至0.9%，為一年來最低。但一定程度上歸因於持續35天的政府部分關門。失業率處於近50年來最低水準提振了薪資，而二季度汽油價格走低，對消費者支出構成支撐。
美聯儲主席鮑威爾本月初稱，企業投資是表現疲弱的經濟領域之一，稱其已經“明顯放緩”，這可能“反映出對貿易緊張局勢和全球經濟增長放緩的擔憂”。
美國經濟增長放緩的背景是，經濟前景面臨的風險不斷上升，尤其是關稅壁壘以及海外經濟增長放緩所帶來的風險。這些因素料將促使美聯儲下週三進行10年來的首次降息。
經濟放緩基本上是由於白宮1.5萬億美元的減稅政策刺激效果消退。特朗普政府實施減稅政策，搭配政府增加支出和放鬆監管，以幫助提升可持續的經濟年增率達到3.0%。
但亞特蘭大聯儲把經濟增長預估調降至1.3%，較一周前下滑0.3個百分點。並表示，二季度期間美國庫存、投資和淨出口減少，拖累了經濟增速。
美銀美林信貸策略師Hans Mikklesen表示：“美聯儲現在對資料的依賴程度較低。我認為美聯儲真正關注的還是通脹。他們擔心在扭轉通脹預期的戰鬥中敗下陣來。”
美聯儲主席鮑威爾此前表示，美聯儲將根據對全球經濟增長前景、關稅壁壘影響力以及通脹資料的監測情況，在必要是採取行動。鮑威爾甚至還曾表示，美聯儲可以酌情採取行動，延長美國經濟的擴張期。
