美指上破102大关，美联储主席耶伦对经济前景表示乐观
周三(12月14日)纽约时段，美联储发布了最新的利率决议升息25基点，符合预期。此后，美联储主席耶伦召开新闻发布会，整体上来看，美联储主席耶伦对美国经济的前景表达了乐观的观点，支撑美元施压金价，而原油价格受美元走强的影响而下跌。
耶伦在新闻发布会上指出：
对于未来政策路径问题。加息是对美国经济的信任票。加息在利率路径上略微调整，2017年加息三次的中值预期仅仅受到部分参与者的推动。加息决定将会对市场利率有很小的影响。加息会提振部分短期借贷利率，个人会看到变化。
市场预期不是利率决定的前提条件。关于未来是否加息，市场预期加息概率超过50%是不必要的。
对于市场关注的财政政策，财政政策仅仅美联储前景所考虑的若干因素之一。不能言明美联储会对任何政策变化做出何种回应，不会在得到更多特定细节之前做出臆测。致力于确保平稳地过渡到新一届美国政府。并不会向新总统提供政策建议。美联储职员们已经接触特朗普政权过渡团队，但自己尚未就此接触特朗普本人。
在薪资和就业问题上。最新数据表明就业市场出现进一步的复苏。劳动力市场并无迹象表明存在会迅速推高通胀率的严重的劳动力短缺。劳动力市场闲置问题已经消退，但可能还存在一些松弛。在重拾充分就业状态上显然无需财政政策的支持。劳动力市场大体上与2007年的闲置水平相当。
美国国内经济方面。担心生产率增速已经处于非常低的水平，教育、创新和竞争力政策可能会让这得到改善。税收政策能成为支持生产力的一个因素。
