周二（7月7日），英镑兑美元跌至四周低位，因德国国债收益率与美国国债收益率利差扩大，令欧元货币兑美元全面走低。
伴随德国国债收益率跌至五周低位，德国国债债收益率与可比10年期美债收益率差扩大至约1.5个百分点，美元兑主要货币全面走强，美元指数触及一个月高位。
此外，英国早些时候公布的工业生产和制造业产出数据喜忧参半，使市场无法判断英国央行何时将会加息。
数据显示，英国5月工业产出月率上升0.4%，预期为下降0.2%，前值由上升0.4%修正为上升0.3%。但制造业数据却令人失望，数据显示，英国5月制造业产出月率下降0.6%，预期为上升0.1%，前值为下降0.4%。
投资者正密切关注英国财政大臣奥斯本周三将公布的预算报告，市场普遍预计此次预算会削减福利支出120亿英镑。
分析师表示，如果英国进一步削减支出，这会使市场推迟对英国央行的加息预期，从而令英镑承压。
英镑兑美元最新下跌1.3%，报1.5413美元，创6月11日来最低水平。英镑兑欧元基本持平，报0.7090英镑。
