德意志银行(Deutsche Bank)策略师Michael Lewis在报告中称，由于美国原油产量对石油钻井数下滑的反应比预料的要慢得多，因此明年产量将出现持续性下滑。
美国油服贝克休斯(baker hughes)公布的数据显示，美国至6月12日当周石油钻井总数(口)实际635，前值642，预期642，为连续第27周下滑。
同时，美国能源信息署(EIA)预计美国5月原油生产增长大约960万桶，与2014年第四季度平均水平相比，美国今年原油产量大约高出40万桶。
Lewis表示，“结合基本面疲软以及我们的价格预期，预计之后美国产量存在一些下行风险。”
对于近期美国原油库存持续减少，德意志银行指出，这是因为进口下降以及炼厂利用率提高所造成的，且影响被过分夸大。
该行预计，今年5-9月美国关键盆地的原油产量的下降30万桶/日，并拉低产量回到2014年12月水平。同时，预计美国四季度钻井活动将加速。
