美联储去年上缴盈利969亿美元创新高

美联储近日公布的年报显示，2014年美联储向财政部上缴了969亿美元的盈利，创下历史新高。截至2014年底，美联储的资产总额为4.498万亿美元，高于上一年度的4.024万亿美元，其中美国国债持有量增加至2.6万亿美元。所以说，美联储原来还是个“隐形大富豪”。
据悉，美联储的收入在用于覆盖其运营成本后，剩下的多数都要上缴至美国财政部。2013年，美联储上缴的盈利为796.3亿美元，2012年为884.2亿美元。在2007年以前，美联储每年平均向美国财政部上缴230亿美元的利润。而在2007年，美联储上缴的利润达到540亿美元。金融危机之后，美国联邦政府一度穷到面临关门的地步，美联储的盈利额却在逐年增加，并将其获得的利润上缴财政部，似乎在告诉美国纳税人，危机时期的付出没有被浪费。此外，美联储现在算是出手最阔绰的美国政府机构。
