美联储副主席费希尔周一表示，美国的货币政策仍然极为宽松，美联储正在检视美元走强及油价下跌带来的影响，美国的通胀水平受到了过渡性冲击，美元不会永远地处于上涨模式，利率上涨并不会阻碍美国经济增长，将由数据决定加息时间，可能有正当理由在2015年底前加息。
费希尔并表示，“未来美联储加息之路不会是顺畅的向上之路，将会在每次FOMC会议上，根据成员对能够实现双重目标的信心来做出关于联邦基金利率的决定，全球货币政策宽松氛围所带来的益处或会被美元升值所抵消，失业率接近预期值时预计通胀将向目标逐步上升，未来利率水平存在不确定性。”
