三、两者的关系
根据中国证券监督管理委员会，于2009年9月8日下发的《关于核准联合证券有限责任公司变更公司章程重要条款的批复》，“联合证券有限责任公司”的名称已于2009年9月17日变更为“华泰联合证券有限责任公司”。
另外，根据中国证券监督管理委员会，于2009年10月21日下发的《关于核准华泰证券股份有限公司与华泰联合证券有限责任公司收购证券营业部的批复》，华泰联合证券有限责任公司从华泰证券股份有限公司收购海口龙华路证券营业部等37家营业网点，该37家营业网点全部更名为华泰联合证券下属的营业网点；同时，华泰联合证券向华泰证券出让杭州庆春路证券营业部等26家营业网点，该26家营业网点全部更名为华泰证券下属的营业网点。
从这里可以看出，华泰联合证券是华泰证券与联合证券合并而成的证券公司，而联合证券曾经是由华泰证券所控股，因此，目前华泰证券依然是华泰联合证券的控股公司。也就是说，这两家公司不是同一家，但是有一定的联系。
