股票基金赎回，就是指投资者以自己的名义直接或透过代理机构向基金管理公司要求部分或全部退出基金的投资，并将买回款汇至投资者的账户内。它不是一种简单的卖出，它与投资者最终实现投资收益密切相关。
一般而言，股票基金赎回是T日申请，T+1工作日确认，到账时间一般为T+4工作日（代销，直销快1天），但是不同的代销机构赎回时间往往会不一样，可能会出现1-2天左右的差别。
注意，T日申请是以15点为界限的，15点过后提交的申请都归为下一个工作日申请。如5月4日12点申请算作4日申请，5月4日17点申请则默认为5日的申请。
