股指期货，全称为“股票指数期货”，是一种以股票价格指数作为标的物的金融期货，它的合约价值就是将股票指数乘以规定的指数点的现金值。作为期货交易的一种类型，股指期货交易与其他普通商品期货交易具有相同的特征和流程。
一、股指期货交易规则
1.交易时间：周一至周四为上午9：15-11：30，下午13：00-15：15，最后交易日时间为上午9：15-11：30，下午13：00-15：00。
2. 涨跌停制度：根据《沪深300股指期货合约》（征求意见稿）中规定，每日价格最大波动限制为上一个交易日结算价的±10%，涨跌停幅度与股票一致。
3. 保证金制度：股指期货最低的交易保证金收取标准为10%。
4.交割日期规定为每月的第三个周五：根据《沪深300股指期货合约》（征求意见稿）中规定，最后交易日与交割日为合约到期月份的第三个周五，遇国家法定假日顺延，避免月末波动。
5.竞价交易：股指期货采用集合竞价和连续竞价两种方式撮合成交，正常交易日9:10-9:15为集合竞价时间。其中，9:10-9:14为指令申报时间，9:14-9:15为指令撮合时间。集合竞价指令申报时间不接受市价指令申报，集合竞价指令撮合时间不接受指令申报。
