什么是维持担保比例呢？维持担保比例指的是担保品价和与债务之间的比例。维持担保比例是并不是无上限，也不是无下限，它的数值需要在一定范围之内波动，否则需要投资者追加担保物而达到新的平衡。
（一）维持担保比例的公式是什么？
1、维持担保比例的公式
（1）维持担保比例＝（本金＋信用证券账户内证券市值）/（融资买入金额＋融券卖出证券数量×市价＋利息及费用总和）
（2）或者是“维持担保比例=（自己的资产+借来的资产）/借来的资产
（3）或者是“维持担保比例”=总资产/负债总额
2、维持担保比例的规定
根据《融资融券试点交易实施细则》，投资者信用账户维持担保比例不得低于130%。证券公司在不超过上述交易所规定比例的基础上，可以根据客户资信状况等因素，自行确定维持担保比例的最低标准。
（1）当投资者维持担保比例少于130%时，证券公司应通知投资者在不超过2个交易日的期限内追加担保物，且客户追加担保物后的维持担保比例不得低于150%。
（2）当维持担保比例超过300%时，我们可以提取保证金可用余额中的现金或充抵保证金投资模式的证券，但提取后维持担保比例不得低于300%。
3、维持担保比例公式的实例
比如说比如某个投资者客户有100万资产，通过融资融券总共借来200万的资产，这时担保比例=（100+200）/200=150%，达到标准。
