航空系统指中航工业集团旗下的上市公司，包括西飞国际、中航精机、中航光电等17家公司，中航工业集团也是拥有上市公司最多的军工企业集团。
（三）兵器
工业系统则包括中国兵装集团和中国兵工集团，两家集团旗下合计拥有15家上市公司。
（四）船舶
船舶系统，包括了中国船舶重工集团和中国船舶工业集团，两家集团分别拥有1家和3家上市公司，其中，风帆股份和中国重工隶属中船重工集团，广船国际、中国船舶和中船股份都属于船舶工业集团。
（五）核工业
核工业系统也包括中国核工业集团和中国核工业建设集团两家公司，其中，中核科技是核工业集团旗下唯一的上市公司，核工业建设集团旗下则没有上市公司。
（六）军事电子
在军工电子领域，有3家上市公司隶属于中国电子科技集团，它们是华东电脑、四创电子以及*ST高陶。
