苏格兰皇家银行认为，虽然美国9月ISM制造业指数未能给人留下深刻印象，但是其生产分项指标确实达到自2010年来的最高水平，这对制造业指数来说是个好兆头。
苏格兰皇家银行说道：“我们预期美国9月工业产出月率将反弹0.3%，抵消8月下滑的0.1%。初请失业金人数可能低于30万，与近期趋势相一致，这也可以缓解对美国潜在劳动力市场放缓的担忧。”
苏格兰皇家银行称：周三数据显示纽约联储制造业指数“暴跌”，提升了今晚美国10月费城联储制造业指数的可关注度。
