俄秘密囤积黄金引发猜测

俄罗斯央行自年初以来总计购买了70吨黄金。如果在平时，这只会是经济新闻的一个脚注。但在地缘局势越来越紧张之际，这引发了关注。再没有哪个国家像俄罗斯这样有针对性地增加黄金储备。
不少观察家猜测背后隐藏着秘密计划，例如为可能与西方爆发的金融战做准备。还有人甚至认为，这个全球国土面积最大的国家准备推翻美元作为主要货币的地位。汉堡一家投资公司的董事亚历山大·丹尼尔斯说：“倘若乌克兰冲突进一步激化，乃至演变为战争，那么由美国主导的西方制裁有可能严重制约甚至阻止俄罗斯的支付往来。”总之，莫斯科的举动的确令人生疑。
与传统工业国不同，经济增长迅速的新兴工业国多年来一直在增加贵金属的储备。大多数国家是为了使其充裕的外汇储备多元化：国家财富不应全由欧元和美元组成。金融危机表明，欧元和美元有很多问题。
但看看数字就知道，莫斯科的侧重点不同，尽管外汇储备下降，但俄罗斯今年大幅增加了黄金储备。因乌克兰危机，俄罗斯外汇储备一度降至4230亿美元。这是2010年春天以来的最低值。在俄罗斯的欧元储备和美元储备于2014年大幅缩水之际，莫斯科一直增购黄金。在过去的12个月中，俄罗斯央行的黄金储备增加了10%。
大多数黄金炒家认为莫斯科此举很精明，但对于俄罗斯有何目的看法不一。有些人认为，这纯粹是出于经济目的，但有人称，这是展现金融实力和基于地缘政治考量。慕尼黑一家投资公司的董事说：“俄罗斯这么做纯粹出于理性，只是为避免中国人犯的错误，即陷入对美国国债越来越深的金融依赖当中。”这位投资专家暗指中国人的巨额外汇储备—目前有4万亿美元—大部分投资于美国国债。美元若贬值，北京就不得不考虑要面临严重的账面亏损，而这也会反作用于中国经济。
