白银投资供需皆有增长

世界白银协会数据显示，2014上半年白银投资和工业需求有所增长。至6月，白银ETF的持有量增加了700万盎司。
据基本金属指数的数据显示，今年第一季度全球银币销量上涨4.5%，而今年上半年美国铸币局的美国鹰银币销量则接近创纪录水平的2410万盎司，仅次于2013年的2500万盎司。白银协会称，银条消费量则在去年大增后，在今年有所减弱。
今年上半年，类似环氧乙烷产品等白银工业需求有显著增长，今年预计增长23%至800万盎司。此外，全球可再生能源的增加也推动了光伏产业中的白银需求，据Metals Focus预测，今年光伏产业中白银需求将增加10%。
另外，麦克尤恩矿业公司周四在季度报告中称，2014年二季度的黄金等效产量较去年同期下滑8%，因旗下圣何塞和厄尔·盖洛矿山的金品位较低。
报告显示，二季度该公司的黄金等效产量（基于副产品，如白银等销量计算得出）共计31200盎司，其中黄金产量下滑至18863盎司，白银产量下滑至740276盎司。
该公司还表示，预计二季度旗下位于阿根廷的Los Azules项目将花费9000万-1.35亿美元的税前减损支出。另外，矿业公司维持2014年全年的黄金等效产量在13.5-14万盎司不变，因其预计旗下厄尔·盖洛矿山的金品味及产能将提高。
