上海黄金交易所将设黄金国际版

消息人士透露，中国人民银行5月4日已印发《关于同意上海黄金交易所设立国际业务板块的批复》，原则同意上海黄金交易所国际板的方案。
按照央行批复，境外客户在上金所指定的结算银行，开立用于黄金投资结算的资金专用账户，按照相关规定办理跨境资金结算。
上海一直致力建设成为远东国际金融中心，容纳境外投资者是第一步，只有门户打开了，才能具有一定的代表性，进而离定价权更近。更何况多家境外机构也有参与的意愿，渣打、澳新等机构均表示“相当感兴趣”。
当然，设立国际板只是起步，与纽约伦敦相比，上海黄金交易所交易品种较少，涵盖面有限，但只有把门户打开，才能更有代表性，使得自己变得更强。关起门自己玩，有什么意思呢？
当央行点头之后，境外投资者可以通过黄金国际板，来参与上海黄金交易所的所有品种，这将有助于中国靠近国际黄金定价权。
此外，黄金国际板将采用人民币报价，保证金也使用离岸人民币，这将有助于人民币国际化。
对于境外投资者来说，一直垂涎中国庞大的市场而无处入手，黄金国际板则给了他们这样一个机会，未来的市场，共赢才是主流，黄金国际板则是一个开端。
