迪拜印度人社区旺季购金下降

迪拜黄金零售商表示，在印度传统的黄金销售旺季即将到来的情况下，迪拜印度人社区的金饰需求量有所下降。据称，上周五(5月2日)，当地的黄金市场和去年相比显得一片萧条。
迪拜的零售商称，自印度开始对黄金进口进行限制以来，他们的黄金销售下降有约一半。
黄金销售商Navrang Jewellers的主管Raju Thaker称，今年4月，也就是印度佛陀满月节到来前，该公司的黄金销量较去年下降约20%。
印度政府，在海外居住超过6个月的印度人在回国时可以携带1公斤黄金，携带者需为金条支付4%的关税，为金饰支付10%的关税。
另一家珠宝商Popley Kewalram Jewellers则称他们今年4月的销量较去年下降至少一半。
