印度放宽黄金进口限制 将为黄金作支持

3月21日报导,ABC Bullion首席经济学家Jordan Eliseo表示,金价月底以前仍可能上涨至每盎司1,400美元价位,而如果金价能够突破1,430美元阻力位,后市将会进一步上扬。Eliseo称金价主要将是受到俄罗斯与西方国家关系趋于紧张的影响,因黄金是终极的避险资产,一旦世界政局不稳,金价都会迎来上涨。汇丰银行(HSBC)周四(3月20日)报告称,黄金或从印度放松黄金进口限制中获取支撑,印度央行增加了允许黄金进口的银行数量,这标志着向放松黄金进口限制迈出了一小步,并且接下来有可能进一步放松。
印度央行副行长KC Chakrabarty周四(3月20日)在提到印度允许更多银行进口黄金的举动时称,更多的参与者会带来竞争,黄金就能被以更低的价格进口,这样经常帐赤字(CAD)也能有所改善。去年,印度政府和央行为控制印度的经常帐赤字,对黄金进口采取了一系列限制措施,包括将黄金进口关税上调至10%,并且规定进口黄金中的20%必须用于出口,即所谓的80:20规则。仅六家银行和三家金融机构被允许在80:20的框架下进口黄金。
印度央行本周宣布包括艾克塞思银行(Axis Bank)、印度工业银行(Induslnd Bank)、克塔特银行(Kotak Mahindra Bank)以及印度商业银行(Yes Bank)在内的私营银行可以在目前80:20的方案下进口黄金,以促进黄金珠宝出口商的供应。据行业人士估计,此次印度央行放宽黄金进口管制将令3月的黄金进口总量较2月增加超过20吨,至40吨左右。印度珠宝首饰出口促进委员会(GJEPC)3月20日表示,2月黄金首饰出口额小幅上升1%至7.1836亿美元,2013年4月起的本财年前11个月,印度黄金首饰出口额为63.5亿美元,低于上年同期的116.7亿美元。
