中国上海黄金国际板有望下半年推出

全国人大代表、上海黄金交易所理事长许罗德透露，目前上海黄金交易所正在积极推进在上海自贸区建立上海国际黄金交易中心（俗称黄金国际板），目前中国人民银行等相关监管层已经对上报草案原则同意，目前正积极完善相关细节，有望在今年下半年正式推出。
上海黄金交易所已是全球最大的黄金现货交易所。据中国证券报周二报导，上海黄金交易所将尽快在上海自贸区注册名称为“上海国际黄金交易中心”的子公司，目前正在走程序。该公司为股份公司，但当前并不会引入其他股东。
至于黄金国际板细节方面，许罗德透露，黄金国际板交易将用人民币来定价，并且引入境外投资者参与交易，相关合约包括目前上海黄金交易所中的黄金合约以及迷你黄金合约，而不同的是，目前上海黄金交易所现有黄金现货交易均为实物交割，而黄金国际板的黄金交易均为现金交割。
他表示，中国、印度对黄金需求旺盛，目前全球“西金东移”趋势非常明显，但是中国黄金市场一直是伦敦、纽约等地黄金市场的“影子市场”，中国金银市场吸纳能力占据全球一半以上，却没有价格发言权，黄金国际板用人民币定价而非美元定价，也是为了让中国在全球黄金定价中摆脱“跟随者”的角色。
许罗德还提到，目前国际上包括银行、产金企业、基金均在与上海黄金交易所沟通并有相当大的兴趣参与。境外机构参与黄金国际板也会有相应的限制，比如限仓制度，还有黄金人民币账户只能进行黄金交易，在制度设计中，不能变成热钱的管道。
据中国黄金协会最新统计数据显示，2013年中国黄金消费量首次突破1,000吨，达到1,176.40吨，同比增长41.36%。与此同时，2013年中国黄金产量达到428.163吨，同比增长6.23%，再创历史新高，连续七年位居世界第一。
