据彭博社报道，进入2014年，投资者们实现了自2012年12月以来对ETF.SPDR黄金基金(GLD)第一次净买入。
The Busch Update的编辑Andrew Busch却认为还没有到买黄金的时候。他甚至认为，从技术面而言，这对那些在投资组合中拥有黄金的人反而是售出的机会。
Busch认为，从GLD长期图表看，出现了下降三角形形态，这是看跌信号。
“下降三角形形态意味着价格高点在越来越低，”Busch说，“投资者会在上涨的时候售出，除非价格最终确定收高于130美元。”
Chantico Global的创始人Gina Sanchez给出了她售出GLD的三个理由。首先是经济复苏，其次是更高的利率前景，最后是美元的走强。她认为目前金价的上涨是源于乌克兰克里米亚地区可能爆发的冲突，这并不是基本面上长期来看的变化。
“这波涨势是乌克兰局势的不确定所带来的，”Sanchez说，“今年一整年不会有那么多因素出现。只会有这样短暂的上涨。但我认为这是售出机会，因为长期的基本面仍然对金价有压力。”
