自由港公司上季铜产量年增17%达到11.8亿磅，黄金产量更增长超过一倍至53.7万盎司，有效抵消了铜金价格下跌的冲击；该公司上季平均销售铜价为每磅3.31美元，低于上年同期的3.6美元；平均销售金价为每盎司1,220美元，低于上年同期的1,681美元。此外，上季的钼产量较上年同期减少100万磅至2,300万磅，平均销售钼价则是由上年同期的每磅12.62美元下滑至11美元。
自由港公司预计2014年将销售44亿磅的铜、170万盎司黄金，以及9,500万磅的钼。其中，第一季预计将销售10亿磅的铜、32.5万盎司黄金，以及2,500万磅的钼。该公司2013年共销售41亿磅的铜、120万盎司黄金，以及9,300万磅的钼。
该公司预计2014年资本支出约70亿美元，较2013年的53亿美元多出17亿美元，其中30亿美元将用于包括30亿美元的采矿业务的大型项目，另有30亿美元用于油气业务。
