钯金与铂金将成为明年表现最佳的贵金属

彭博社10月23日报导，受到全球汽车销量预期将创新高的带动，铂金与钯金预期将成为明年度表现最佳的贵金属。根据彭博社的调查，至2014年第四季，铂金价格将上涨13%至平均每盎司1,635美元，钯金价格将上涨9.8%至平均每盎司823美元。今年以来，金银铂价格分别下跌20%、25%与6.4%，钯金价格则是上涨6.4%。追踪24种商品的标普高盛商品价格指数则是下滑3.2%。彭博社的调查也预估今年第四季铂金与钯金的平均价格将分别为每盎司1,500美元与750美元。
截至上周（10月18日），铂金ETP（交易所交易产品）的持有量达到创新高的73.3公吨，总值达34亿美元，较年初增加61%；钯金ETP的持有量今年以来则增加16%达到67.7公吨，总值16.3亿美元。作为比较，黄金ETP的持有量今年以来则减少了28%。根据LMC Automotive Ltd.的预估，今年全球汽车销量将年增2.7%达到8,320万辆，2014年则预估将年增4.8%至8,720万辆。铂金与钯金的工业应用分别占其总需求的60%与91%，主要用于生产汽车的触媒转化器。相比之下，黄金的工业需求则只占10%。汇丰银行（HSBC）报告表示，9月份，中国大陆铂金净进口量创下30个月新高，钯金净进口量也创下8个月新高，显示大陆对铂族金属的需求强劲。报告指出，9月份，大陆铂金进出口量分别为10.57公吨与0.33公吨，钯金进出口量分别为1.95公吨与0.02公吨；8月份大陆铂金与钯金的进口量分别为7.38公吨与1.69公吨，出口量均为零。英国基金公司ETF Securities（ETFS）分析师Mike McGlone与Nicholas Brooks上周（10月14日）报告则表示，中国大陆最新发布的汽车产销数据良好，此将支撑铂金与钯金的价格表现。大陆是最大的铂金与钯金消费国。
中国汽车工业协会10月11日表示，2013年9月，大陆汽车市场总体呈现产销两旺态势；1-9月，汽车产销保持稳定增长，增幅较前8月均有所提升。具体数据包括，9月汽车产销分别完成192.66万辆和193.58万辆，比上月分别增长14.9%和17.4%，比上年同期分别增长16%和19.7%。1-9月汽车产销分别完成1593.84万辆和1588.31万辆，比上年同期分别增长12.8%和12.7%，增速与前8个月相比，分别提高0.4个百分点和0.9个百分点。
