印度鼓励中小型金饰生产商立足国际

《MINING.com》9月22日报导,印度珠宝首饰贸易协会主席Shanti Patel表示,协会正与中小型的首饰生产商加强合作,希望能够让印度的首饰产业在国际上获取更大的份额,今年举行的古吉拉特国际首饰展便首度邀请了中小型首饰生产商的参与。此外,今年12月将在杜拜举行的国际首饰展,印度古吉拉特省将有10个首饰业者参加,是历来参与规模最大的一次。
Patel表示,协会近期也将会创办一所针对珠宝首饰设计的训练机构,以及一个宝石鉴定的实验室,因这些都是帮助印度生产商在国际上与像是意大利等重要首饰出口国竞争的必要步骤。
印度宝石首饰出口振兴委员会公布的数据显示,本财年4-7月,印度宝石首饰的出口额年减11.3%至6,231.2亿卢比,主要因为印度政府的黄金进口限制措施导致原料短缺的影响。印度财政部9月17日宣布,将黄金首饰的进口税调高一倍至15%,未加工黄金的进口税依然维持在10%,主要是为了保护国内的手工生产业,特别是小型的家庭商铺。去年,珠宝首饰占印度整体出口的17%比重。
根据意大利统计局(ISTAT)与维罗纳大学(University of Verona)的统计,今年1-5月,意大利黄金与金饰的出口量年增2.6%至超过2公吨,出口额也年增6%至超过20亿欧元,主要因为同期金价下跌25%带动出口需求的影响。意大利是欧洲最大的金饰生产国,过去也曾是全球最大的金饰出口国,2012年金饰出口则排名全球第三,次于印度与美国。
