印度黄金限制措施奏效 进口减七成

印度政府9月10日公布的数据显示，8月份黄金进口额较前月的22亿美元大减七成至6.5亿美元，主要因为政府祭出调高关税以及限制进口等措施，希望藉抑制黄金消费来避免经常帐赤字的进一步攀高。印度8月黄金进口量只有3公吨，远低于去年同期的35公吨，而今年4月金价大跌时，印度的黄金进口量更达到142公吨。
印度工商部长Anand Sharma表示，预期未来几个月的黄金进口还将继续减少，但称此并不会影响该国金饰产业的出口，因黄金的供应仍相当充足。印度宝石珠宝出口振兴委员会副主席Pankaj Parekh此前表示，旧金回收的供应相当程度缓解了因进口减少所可能导致的供应紧张。专家估计印度民间持有的黄金达到2.5万吨。
印度8月份出口年增13%达到261.4亿美元，增幅创下两年新高，进口则年减0.7%至370亿美元。工商部长表示，包括欧洲、美国以及英国等主要国家的经济形势都出现好转，此将可望带动需求的攀升。
金价自6月底在1,200美元附近触底反弹之后，近期在1,400美元关口承压，主要因为美国可能即将缩减量化宽松的规模，以及美国对叙利亚军事行动的担忧缓解。
美银美林全球调研（BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research）最新报告指出，目前市场预期联准会每月减少购债的规模约在100-150亿美元之间，而如果本月缩减的规模小于预期甚至是推迟，金价可能会受到支撑而上涨。不过，金价的涨势也可能受限，主要因为实质利率上涨的趋势预期在未来几季仍将会持续。
