现货黄金上个交易日最高触及1406.60美元/盎司，最低下探1389.46美元/盎司，较前一个交易日开盘价1399.10美元/盎司上涨3.2美元，涨幅0.23%，报1402.30美元/盎司。
因日内公布的美国耐用品订单数据远逊于预期，打压美元走软，黄金价格小幅上扬。美国商务部(the Commerce Department)周一公布的数据显示，美国7月耐用品订单月率下降7.3%，低于预期的下滑4.0%，前值为上升3.9%。美国7月扣除运输的耐用品订单月率下降0.6%，低于预期的增长0.5%，前值为下滑0.4%。
同时，上周CFTC多头押注触及6个月来高点，黄金ETP及ETF持仓也均出现大量流入，暗示投资者情绪已有所转变。 CFTC上周五公布的数据显示，受美联储不能确定何时缩减QE的影响，对冲基金和基金经理看涨黄金期货和期权，持仓量达到2月份以来最高水平。全球最大的黄金ETF–SPDR Gold Trust截至8月25日黄金持仓量增加6.61吨，至920.13吨。
另外，南非及叙利亚的地缘政治风险仍有继续恶化的可能，料将对黄金价格起到一定的支撑。联合国武器专家将于周一抵达大马士革郊区，该处疑因化学武器袭击而造成数百人死亡，西方国家强烈呼吁采取军事行动来惩戒世界上最严重的化学武器攻击事件。
由于近期美国经济数据表现不佳，同时叙利亚以及南非的一系列地缘政治风险仍有进一步恶化的可能，料将对黄金价格带来支持。眼下市场的目光正聚焦后市即将公布的各项美国经济数据，期待从中寻得有关美联储缩减QE时间表的指引。
