印度股市创近兩年最大跌幅 卢比创新低

英国金融时报18日报导，印度总理辛格(Manmohan Singh)周末在接受Press Trust of India(PTI)专访时表示，2,790亿美元的外汇存底将足以协助国家渡过近20年来最严重的经济危机；印度不会重蹈「国际收支平衡危机(Balance of Payment crisis)」的覆辙。国际货币基金组织(IMF)前首席经济学家、印度财政部现任首席经济顾问Raghuram Rajan将在9月5日接下印度央行(RBI)总裁的职位。
一名资深官员透露，印度不但从未考虑限制外国机构投资人(FII)汇出金额，反而还打算采取措施吸引更多外资流入。摩根士丹利证券首席经济学家Chetan Ahya指出，印度政府现在最好不要采取激进措施、静候金融市场自行回归冷静理性。印度商业银行Yes Bank Ltd 16日大跌11.37%，收258.30印度卢比、创2012年1月9日以来收盘新低。
彭博社报导，印度在1990年代因外汇存底缩水、被迫空运黄金担保品以换取IMF的贷款援助。前高盛资产管理公司董事长、金砖四国(BRIC)流行词发明人欧尼尔(Jim O`Neill)曾批评印度决策者说得很多、做得很少。
印度SENSEX指数16日大跌3.97%，收18,598.18点、创6月26日以来收盘新低，单日跌幅创2011年9月22日(注：当时大跌4.13%)以来新高。嘉实XQ全球赢家系统的报价显示，美元兑印度卢比16日升值0.34%至61.650；盘中最高升至61.985、创历史新高。今年迄今，美元兑印度卢比升值幅度超过12%；过去两年(2011、2012年)升值幅度分别达18.7%、3.37%。
美国财政部15日公布的官方数据显示，截至2013年6月底为止印度持有的美国公债余额年增13.8%(月增2.2%)至612亿美元、逆势呈现走高。
印度经济时报报导，RBI 14日将印度人每年的海外汇款上限自20万美元降至75,000美元、并禁止当地人赴海外购买房地产；企业无须申报的海外直接投资净值占比上限、将自原先的400%大幅调降至100%。
