COMEX期金与期铜创2个月、10周新高

纽约商品期货交易所(COMEX)12月黄金期货8月16日在贵金属现货需求攀高的带动下，终场收盘上涨10.1美元或0.7%成为每盎司1371.0美元；盘后最高一度上涨至1,379.20美元，创6月18日以来新高。过去一周以来，COMEX期金劲扬了4.5%，创7月12日当周以来最大周涨幅。
彭博社15日报导，根据世界黄金协会(WGC)最新发表的统计报告，2013年第2季印度、中国大陆黄金需求量分别年增71%、87%至310.0公吨、275.7公吨。根据统计，拜中国大陆、印度分别成长54%、51%之赐，第2季全球黄金首饰需求量年增37%至575.5公吨、创2008年第3季以来新高。此外，全球第2季金条/金币需求量年增78%至创纪录的507.6公吨，主要是拜中国大陆、印度需求倍增之赐。
King World News 15日报导，为全球领导企业提供顾问的金矿专家Keith Barron在接受专访时指出，亚洲央行已决定召回存放在外的黄金，其中有部份是放在欧洲地区，这也是空单回补、金价强弹的主因。Barron透露，从英国央行(BOE)、联准会(FED)运出的1,300吨黄金当中，有很大一部份是进到大陆与其他亚洲国家的金库。他警告，实体黄金目前面临庞大的挤兑潮，这也让市场陷入吃紧状态。
彭博社16日报导，摩根大通(JPMorgan Chase & Co.)发表研究报告指出，印度需求强近、加上南非的劳资纠纷，可能会让金价在未来4-5周持续走高。
COMEX 12月白银期货16日也上涨1.7%，成为每盎司23.372美元；盘后最高一度上涨至23.445美元，创5月15日以来新高。过去一周以来，COMEX白银期货大涨了15%、创2008年9月来最大周涨幅。此外，纽约商业交易所(NYMEX)10月铂金期货则下跌0.3%成为每盎司1,527.60美元，9月钯金期货上涨0.8%成为每盎司763.05美元。
纽约商品期货交易所(COMEX)2013年9月期铜8月16日收盘上涨0.8%成为每磅3.3630美元，创10周以来新高，主要是拜美国与中国大陆经济数据稳健、产业库存渐减之赐。华尔街日报报导，来自大陆的经济数据显示，当地的成长已逐渐加快。此外，以过去一周的经济数据来看，欧元区也逐步走出衰退阴霾，而美国的初次申请失业救济金人数也创2007年以来新低。
铜矿库存日减，也显示供应逐渐吃紧。伦敦金属交易所(LME)公布的数据显示，在交易所全球仓储存放的铜矿已在本周下滑至约584,000公吨，创4月初以来新低，并较6月底的10年新高缩减了14%。
