鲍尔森削减53%SPDR黄金持仓量

据报道，在第二季度，鲍尔森公司将SPDR持仓从一季度末的2180万股削减到1020万股，索罗斯基金管理公司抛空了所持有的530900股。SPDR基金是世界上最大的黄金交易产品。
当4月份黄金暴跌的时候，鲍尔森当月亏损达26.5%。然而，鲍尔森在给投资者的信中却暗示：别再把如此之多的注意力放在我的纸黄金投资上。意思就是不要再对其黄金投资说三道四。
到6月份，鲍尔森黄金基金再次亏损23%，全年亏损65%。但鲍尔森在给投资者的信中说，“如果长期来看，我们相信（黄金）基金有潜力带来超额回报。”
第二季度，黄金期货创纪录地下跌了23%，SPDR价值损失447亿美元。在金价连续上涨12年，美国股市在2013年上半年上涨，并且美国通胀低于美联储的目标，一些投资者因此不再将黄金当做保值产品。根据彭博的市场调查，美联储可能将在9月份削减货币刺激计划。
