失业率持续下降，非农数据并不乐观

10月2日晚，美国公布了9月非农数据就业报告，结果好坏各有，虽然新增就业人口数量减少，但是失业率正在持续下降，在数据公布后，现货黄金出现轻微震荡，市场目前仍需等待更多的信息指引。
数据显示，美国9月新增非农就业人口66.10万人，不及预期的增加87.50万，前值从增加148.9万下修到增加137.1万。
美国劳工统计局称，劳动力市场的改善反映了受新冠肺炎疫情抑制的经济活动继续恢复，以及为控制疫情所付出的努力。9月，休闲和酒店、零售贸易、医疗保健和社会援助以及专业和商业服务领域的就业显著增加。3月至8月，美国劳工统计局都会公布一个计算了错误分类工人在内的失业率估值，如果按同样方法计算，那么9月的整体失业率会比报告的要高0.4个百分点，不过这是数据错误分类造成的最大误差。（上个月的误差为0.7个百分点）
而后续的数据可能更糟糕，数万名航空公司工作人员将被迫休假，零售商季节性雇用低于平均水平，户外就餐变得更加难以维持导致餐馆员工的裁员，以及潜在的州和地方政府裁员。
由于政府资金减少和新冠疫情大流行持续不断，美国经济从衰退中恢复的步伐放缓，许多人处于永久失业的风险中。新冠疫情已导致美国近750万人染病，逾21万人死亡。新增病例数正在上升，预计秋季会激增，这可能会导致服务业的企业受到一些限制。
美国企业恢复经营的过去几个月，市场需求依然很差，劳动力市场从企业复工中获得的提振正在消退，尤其是在服务性行业，一些企业永久关停或进一步解雇劳工。餐馆和酒吧等低薪服务业工作岗位流失扭曲了工资增长。
就在政府资金于午夜耗尽后不久，美国总统特朗普周四签署了一项临时资金法案，将维持联邦政府在12月11日之前的运转。该法案将让大多数项目目前的资金水平得以维持，避免政府在11月3日总统大选前且在大流行肆虐期间停摆。
