6月9日，现货黄金继续低位反弹，由于市场探索美联储加大购债的可能性，加上市场认为美联储的政策很难得到理想中的效果。加上美国主要城市还处于大规模街头抗议中，可能引发新一轮疫情爆发。
美联储政策声明将在北京时间周四(6月11日)2点发布。主席鲍威尔在半个小时后举行记者会，同时还将伴随新的经济预测出炉，显示他们预计经济将以多块的速度复苏。
市场预计，美联储本周料维持利率不变，因上周公布的美国5月非农就业岗位意外增加，完全出乎市场意料。利率期货市场显示，投资人已放弃美联储在明年推行负利率政策的预期。
美联储将在未来几天启动规模6000亿美元的“主街贷款工具”，这项最富雄心且最复杂的危机救助计划旨在帮助中小型企业。美联储周一扩大了该计划，将最低贷款额降低至25万美元，上限提升至3亿美元。
新冠病毒大流行引发的经济危机已经持续了两个多月，一些游说者、银行家和小企业顾问表示，最低贷款规模可能太大，无法帮助许多陷入困境的企业，一些借款人担心会受到公众的监督。
但华盛顿大学的研究人员周一估计，到8月时美国可能累计将有145728人死于新冠病毒感染，仅短短数日内其预估数字上调逾五千；华盛顿大学健康指标与评估研究所上周五预计，到8月时美国累计新冠死亡病例为140496。
传染病专家称，警察暴力执法导致黑人弗洛伊德死亡事件引发的美国主要城市大规模街头抗议，可能引发新一波疫情。据统计，美国累计报告新冠感染病例超过200万，死亡病例逾11万。
如果世行的预测不幸被言中，那么将会有更多企业永久性关闭、全球贸易流量更大幅度地减少、更多企业裁员、更多家庭大幅削减支出。这对于风险资产人气恢复显然更不利。
