经济复苏预期施压黄金，但美指重挫限制跌幅

5月26日，由于全球对经济复苏的乐观情绪增加，现货黄金受到一定压制，同时欧系货币受到支撑出现巨大涨幅，美元指数受到重创，限制了金价的跌幅。英国央行不排除推行负利率政策，英国脱欧谈判仍有跳出僵局的情况。
欧元兑美元日内最大涨幅接近0.8%，录得三个交易日新高至1.0980。欧盟外交官表示，欧盟领导人可能在接下来的几周举行面对面的峰会，讨论下一笔联合预算和相关的抗疫复苏基金问题，以及暂停抗疫封锁令问题。
在欧盟总部布鲁塞尔，很少有人相信，欧盟预算协议中常见的激烈的争论可以在网络会议中发挥效果，而且随着感染速度减缓，多数欧盟成员国都在放松封锁。
日内有消息称，欧洲央行正在制定应急计划，即使德国央行被迫退出公共部门债券购买计划(PSPP)，预计也会购买德国债券。此举被认为是应对德国法院先前做出的裁决——暂停德国央行参与欧洲央行的购债计划，并要求后者就必要性做出说明。
英国央行首席经济学家霍尔丹日内发表讲话称，调查显示消费和企业信心出现了部分企稳和非常温和的复苏，结果略好于预期。预计二季度英国经济可能收缩20%。就业方面出现少量稳定的迹象，但可能要到2023年才能回到疫情前的水平。
英国与欧盟在脱欧后继谈判中关键的渔业问题上取得进展。但英国与欧盟的脱欧过渡期谈判前景，从眼下来看依旧是凶多吉少。英国此前已经多次坚称，不会寻求延长过渡期。
下一轮谈判定于6月初，在欧洲理事会月中会议之前，欧盟领导人将讨论和评估所取得的进展。英国必须在6月底之前要求延长会谈和过渡期，但是到目前为止，没有迹象表明英国会考虑这种要求。
