美国国会众议院司法委员会11日傍晚开始审议针对总统特朗普的弹劾条款，并将于12日投票决定是否将弹劾条款提交至众议院全院接受审议和表决。
众议院司法委员会主席、民主党人纳德勒在开场陈述时说，特朗普置个人政治利益于国家安全、公平选举和国会监督权之上，特朗普面临滥用职权和妨碍国会调查两项弹劾条款。
接下来，如果有一项弹劾条款在目前由民主党人掌控的众议院全院表决时获得简单多数支持，特朗普弹劾案就将进入由共和党人占多数的参议院审理。参议院多数党领袖麦康奈尔11日说，如果众议院通过弹劾条款，参议院明年1月头号事务将是弹劾案审理。
分析人士认为，虽然特朗普弹劾案日趋白热化，但是其结局难有悬念——民主党占据多数席位的众议院将通过弹劾条款，共和党占据多数席位的参议院将否决弹劾。
