金价下行有限，贸易局势越发严峻

12月9日，国际金价从低位反弹，因市场对贸易局势的担忧限制了金价的下滑，而本周是美国是否对中国商品征收新一轮关税的最后期间，同时英镑受到最新民调的提振，抑制了避险情绪发酵，但目前乐观态度为时尚早。
投资者还在关注美国假日购物季的表现，因为消费者支出被视为美国经济增长的第一大引擎。与此同时12月15日是美国是否决定对1560亿美元中国商品征收新一轮关税的最后期限。
中国商务部部长助理任鸿斌周一表示，希望中美双方本着平等互利相互尊重的原则推进谈判和磋商，照顾到彼此的核心关切，尽快取得各方都满意的结果。
中美贸易争端是关注焦点，其他贸易议题同样也不容投资者忽略。这其中最引人注目的是，美国政府威胁可能对法国价值24亿美元的香槟、手包和奶酪等产品征收最高达100%的惩罚性进口关税。
英镑兑美元升至4月4日以来高位的1.3179，因最新民意调查显示，在周四(12月12日)大选之前，英国首相约翰逊所属的保守党扩大领先优势。
约翰逊对媒体表示：“脱欧将给这个国家的治理带来最彻底最深刻的改变。”他补充说，如果在议会的650席中赢得多数，他将带领英国在1月31日退出欧盟。
投票将在北京时间周四15点至周五6点进行。不过需要提醒的是，民调基本上未能成功预测2016年公投结果，也未能预测特雷莎·梅在2017年大选中失去多数地位。
两大政党之间的差距并不需要缩小多少就能产生另一个悬浮议会，现在就乐观断言英国将消除脱欧不确定性为时尚早。英镑将在前期高位1.3378附近遇阻。
