10月22日,现货黄金稍微走强,但波动幅度进一步缩小的趋势十分明显,同时英国无序脱欧的风险下降,但风险偏好得不到贸易方面进一步确定的话,避险资产短时内大幅回落比较困难,目前英国脱欧和中美贸易协议仍是市场的关注重点。
英国首相约翰逊周二晚些时候将面临两次关键性投票。英国议会将在北京时间周三2:00对首相约翰逊的脱欧议案原则进行表决,外界预计约翰逊将以微小差距过关。
但随后进行的立法时间表表决过关难度甚高。只要其中任何一项表决失利,都将打击约翰逊的脱欧计划。他承诺将在10月31日带领英国退出欧盟。
英国议员上周六推迟就约翰逊的脱欧协议举行表决,这迫使约翰逊向欧盟请求第三次延迟脱欧。在那之前,市场原本寄望这可能将结束持续近三年半的政治乱局、经济不确定性、以及与欧盟就脱欧条款进行的曲折磋商。
英国政府上周日坚称,英国将在10月31日退出欧盟。如果英国议会批准脱欧协议,尽管可能性不大,那么英镑或大涨逾5%;否则将意味着脱欧乱局还将延长三个月,之后可能出现竞争激烈的选举。
中国外交部长王毅在接受法新社专访时表示,中美最新一轮磋商取得了实质性进展,为达成阶段性协议奠定了重要基础。事实证明,只要双方本着相互尊重的态度,进行平等协商,中美完全可以找到双方都能接受的解决办法。但如果相反的话,这种磋商自然会受到干扰,甚至可能受挫,这方面的教训值得吸取。
一些专家也指出,中美要达成全面协议还需付出进一步努力。智利央行前行长维托里奥·科尔沃对中美经贸磋商取得进展表示欢迎,但他也提醒说,目前离真正解决问题还有距离。巴西海通投资银行经济学家弗拉维奥·塞拉诺也表示,不排除未来谈判遇到起伏和波折的可能。
因此,尽管近期的脱欧乐观情绪提振了市场风险偏好,但若这股势力得不到来自贸易方面更大利好的夯实,否则短期内包括黄金在的避险资产很难有突破性下跌走势。
