黄金多头反击余力不足，美国经济甚好

4月25日，现货黄金持续反弹，但反弹势头不明显，虽然欧亚的不少经济体都显示出颓势，提升了避险情绪，但经济颓势也影响了货币下挫，加上美国一季度经济增速预期向好，稳固了美元的强劲势头，对金价持续施压。
欧元兑美元日内创2017年6月21日以来新低至1.1127，因德意志银行和德国商业银行结束谈判，未能实现合并。在经济不景气的大背景下，德国政府希望，德意志银行和德国商业银行能够合并，组建全德银行业新的霸主，为出口导向型经济体提供融资。
分析师说：“美国以外其他国家的经济颓势，扩大了美元的强势。一个大问题，这样的颓势是否是暂时的，目前基本预测情形是欧元区和其他地区将在今年下半年复苏。”
贸易紧张局势损及德国这个欧洲最大经济体的工业引擎。这意味着，德国国内需求预计将成为今明两年经济增长的唯一动力。但德国并非传统的消费导向型经济体，因此欧元区经济前景不容乐观，黄金价格跌势将受到限制。
虽然市场原本预期韩国第一季国内生产总值(GDP)增速放缓至逾一年来最慢，但周四的数据显示第一季经济萎缩，为全球金融危机以来最差表现。因面对中美贸易关系紧张企业削减投资，而中国需求降温则打击韩国出口下挫。美元兑韩元创2017年1月以来新高。
美国商务部表示，除飞机外的非国防资本货物订单激增1.3%，为去年7月以来最大增幅。3月份核心资本货物订单激增，表明未来几个月企业支出有所回升。这也意味着制造业活动趋于稳定。
分析师说：“人们倾向于害怕坏消息，而不是欣赏好消息。即使你知道之前‘政府停摆’是暂时的，股市总会复苏，但人们对摆在他们面前的消极数字还是会缺乏信心。”
美国薪资增长速度快于通货膨胀，表明工人正在重新获得一些在长期缓慢复苏期间失去的话语权。而这也刺激了消费者支出的恢复，零售销售在3月份反弹至1.6%。消费占比美国经济2/3的比重，叠加域外经济体不同程度疲软，美元表现出孤独求胜的姿态。
美联储预测，它可能在今年剩余时间内维持利率不变，这也许是支撑市场信心的最大因素。一些经济学家开始宣称，美国“低通胀环境”正受到强化，物价上行压力仍然低于2%的官方目标。
到今年6月份，美国经济复苏将迎来10周年，成为历史上持续时间最长的经济扩张周期。美国经济实现更长时间扩张的概率已经上升，复苏周期的终点不断被推迟。金价很难站上1280美元关口。
