中美贸易对抗缓和市场，但仍需警惕土耳其危机

8月17日，现货黄金价格小幅反弹。主要因为避险情绪降温且投资者等待中美贸易争端的最新进展。美元指数有进一步下落迹象。土耳其法院驳回释放美籍牧师的上诉，表明该国政经形式依旧有可能给市场带来新的冲击。
中、美两国在周四(8月16日)同意，于8月21-22日举行新一轮贸易磋商，协助抑制整个市场的避险情绪，让紧张的金融市场略感放松，美元指数遂进一步脱离13个半月高位。
分析师称：“中美举行贸易磋商消息引发的冒险情绪，正在对美元构成压力。接下来一周，随着中国代表团前往华盛顿，以及针对中国商品的160亿美元新关税措施将生效，关注焦点可能会从土耳其转向中美贸易问题。”
中国商务部网站称，商务部副部长王受文率领的中国代表团将与美国负责国际事务的财政部副部长马尔帕斯率领的美方代表团进行磋商。
虽然分析师和企业高层对双方的接触看法正面，但他们谨慎认为鉴于是低层级的磋商，不太可能有突破，美方是由财政部牵头，而非美国贸易代表办公室(USTR)。
一些商界消息人士表示，他们对此次会谈期望不高，尤其是如果美国贸易代表办公室官员不参加的话更是如此。他们说，邀请参加协商可能是为了稳定市场。
特朗普在内阁会议上谈及土耳其时表示：“他们没有证明他们是伙伴国，他们拘押了一位优秀的基督教牧师，他是无辜的。”
土耳其财长阿尔巴伊拉克表示，银行业者有能力控制波动，目前存款未出现重大外流。但其岳父、土耳其总统埃尔多安反对加息的态度可能扰乱这种努力。
评级机构标普周五稍晚将公布对土耳其的主权债信评等报告，投资人短线焦点放在土耳其里拉的反应。5月时，标普将土耳其评等从垃圾级水准进一步下调。
如果里拉维持当前的跌势，将会增加新兴市场的风险敞口，导致新兴市场资本加速流出，土耳其等深陷通胀危机的新兴国家可能会进一步的减持手中的黄金，以增强本国汇率的抗风险能力，这可能将进一步施压黄金。
