中东拉美供应链出现警报，原油多头降临

交易员称，油价上涨是因为市场预期美国将于5月份再次对伊朗实施制裁。美国总统特朗普将在5月12日之前决定是否恢复对伊朗的制裁。制裁可能导致伊朗石油出口减少。
法国总统马克龙本周访美带着一个重要任务，那就是说服美国总统特朗普不要退出伊朗核协议。但分析师认为，这不太可能拯救伊朗核协议。
分析师“我们的总体观点并未改变，那就是伊朗核协议在特朗普第一届任期内崩盘的可能性为65%。”
委内瑞拉产量下降亦推高油价。委内瑞拉是拉丁美洲产量最高的石油输出国组织(OPEC)成员国。相关数据显示，除去2002年末和2003年初的大型罢工，委内瑞拉目前的石油产量已经接近30年低点，不及1999年产量的一半。
世界银行在其大宗商品市场4月展望中表示，油价今年预计将上涨至平均65美元/桶，超过2017年的平均53美元/桶，这主要是强劲的消费需求以及OPEC持续减产的努力。
但并非所有市场指标均显示供应趋紧。4月20日止当周美国原油库存增加220万桶，至4.2974亿桶，比五年均值高出近1000万桶。
自2016年年中以来，美国的石油产量已飙升逾四分之一，日产量超过1054万桶，比沙特约1000万桶的日产量还要高。目前只有俄罗斯生产更多石油，日产量接近1100万桶。美国供应增加仍在掣肘市场、限制油价涨幅。
