周四(4月12日)，现货黄金价格小跌，前一日曾触及11周高位，今日下跌是受累于技术性卖盘和获利了结。不过对于美国对叙利亚动武的担忧，以及中美贸易摩擦的疑虑还是支持金价。
金价此前经历了四日连升，周三(4月11日)曾触及1365.22美元的1月25日以来最高位，但随后削减升幅，因市场预期美联储将加快加息步伐。
市场分析人士指出，黄金目前正从投资者的担忧中得到支持，他们担心美国及其盟友可能很快会对叙利亚发动军事打击。
分析师称：“周三金价接近技术阻力位，因此我们看到从那里开始的一波跌势。过去几个月金价都在试图突破1370美元水位，因此当金价在强阻力区域整固时，有一些获利了结。”他并指出，只要地缘政治紧张情势持续，就有上涨空间。
分析师称：“虽然我们预测波动性将持续偏高，只要美国仍有可能动用武力，黄金将持续获得支撑，黄金将继续有买气。”
尽管叙利亚本身并非主要的产油国，但整个中东是全球最重要的原油出口地，中东地区局势恶化很容易刺激市场避险情绪。此外，中国与美国之间贸易摩擦疑虑，亦支撑金价。
