本周美联储鹰派作风，2018年将加息4次？
许多策略师和经济学家预计，美联储将会维持对利率的预测，但有一点可以确定的是，美联储官员可能会承认，税收法案可能会刺激经济，影响GDP和利率的前景,进而导致美联储措辞略偏鹰。不过也有持相反观点的人认为，这是美联储主席耶伦最后一次会议，在明年年初鲍威尔接任美联储主席之前，美联储可能会维持当前立场。
分析师 ：“我们需要寻找的惊喜是，美联储会如何诠释未来的税收变化，他们已经准备在2018年加息三次，税改是否会令他们把加息次数调整为四次？事实上，加息四次的门槛是很低的，只需多三名票委支持即可，这才是人们关注的焦点。”
分析师认为，美联储可能会将其预期提高到2018年加息四次，而不是目前的三次。卡彭特表示，对于美联储官员来说，这不会是一个激进的举动，因为即使在今年年初国会还没有通过税改提案时，有些人已经开始考虑财政刺激措施的影响。
现在众议院和参议院正在制定综合的税收法案，他表示，美联储官员有更多理由将GDP增长小幅增加；他预计回来几年中，税改法案将使GDP增速提高0.25%。
他说：“我认为他们可能改变他们的GDP预测；官员预期的“点状图”可能显示，美联储会改变目前2018年加息三次的预测。
分析师表示，他预计美联储将坚持三次加息的预期，但一些官员可能将其个人预测上调至四次。他表示，对通货膨胀疲软的担忧可能使一些美联储官员持有加息两到三次的预期；但是，未来财政刺激的力度越大，就会有越多的美联储官员支持加息四次。
分析师表示，美联储的声明不太可能提供很多新的信息，耶伦在她的新闻发布会中也不太可能多说，“她可能不想传出大新闻，因为她所扮演的角色越来越小，鲍威尔的影响力越来越大。预计美联储决议维持‘平衡’”
