美联储不给力，中东油价坚挺
美元指数在10月18日触及93.80的高位之后掉头回落，在美联储新主席人选揭幕之前，市场投资者不愿过度押注多头头寸，而日内稍嫌逊色的美国经济数据和措辞消极的美联储褐皮书报告也正好给了投资者逢高减仓的契机。此对应的则是，原油价格因为中东的地缘乱局而再度走强逼近前期高位。
最近两周以来，市场最为密切关注的焦点便是美联储新主席人选何时能够出炉。此前，市场再度转向押注一位持强力鹰派政策意见的人士能够最终问鼎美联储新掌门人竞逐战，这使得美元指数在本周初再度走强。但这一预期却在周三进入北美时段后明显降温，而不甚亮眼的近期美国经济表现也让投资者开始怀疑美联储是否真有底气把紧缩行动不折不扣进行到底。
而福布斯此前发布的美国富豪榜数据也更是显示，受到加息预期的拖累，纽约高端地产市场开年以来走势疲软，以至于特朗普本人名下的资产在他就任总统之后也已经蒸发了6亿美元之多。如此状况下，特朗普会不会再提名一位持强力鹰派立场的美联储新主席，就很值得大家玩味。嗅到如此气味的汇市投资者显然也不会选择在这个当口继续追高美元。
伊朗最高宗教领袖哈梅内伊周三罕见地出面发声称，伊朗有意与国际社会配合把此前在2015年达成的核问题协议继续执行下去，但如果美国特朗普当局单方面撕毁此协议，那么伊朗也就只能选择“破罐子破摔”。这一言论无疑在暗示：中东地区核军备竞赛可能重启，地缘局势前景变数将更多。
在伊朗与全球大国达成核协议，换取国际社会取消对其制裁之后，该国已经向全球市场释放了超过100万桶的额外产能，一旦美欧对伊制裁重启，这部分供应量再度消失对于油市供需平衡的冲击将立竿见影，因此，在惶恐不安的情绪下，投资者在11月NYMEX原油期货即将到期交割之际仍逆势加仓做多，并无视了库存增加的影响。
另外，消息还显示，在下月的OPEC会议上，各与会国有望进一步延长减产期限，可能会将其进一步延长9个月直至2018年年底。这对于油市而言，是额外的利多。而与此同时，沙特和卡塔尔之间的口水战本周仍在继续延续，令合纵连横的中东地缘格局变得更加错综复杂。地区局势所带来的额外油价溢价，也因而会被进一步计入到市场价格之中去。
