美联储下任主席不知是谁，但是缩表板上钉钉
美联储副主席费希尔出人意料的辞职，增加了美联储未来几个月领导层换届的不确定性。但特朗普与国会达成了协议，临时上调债务上限三个月，这意味着，不出意外的话，美联储9月开始缩表或是“板上钉钉”。
美联储副主席费希尔已经递美交辞呈，自10月13日当日或前后生效。费希尔在美联储已经任职三年，他的离职将会导致美联储理事会七个席位中出现四个空缺。
美联储主席耶伦的任期将于明年2月结束。虽然白宫正在寻找其他候选人，但特朗普曾表示对耶伦的重新任命也在考虑之中。
然而，对美联储(Fed)的政策前景影响最大的是，特朗普(Donald Trump)与国会议员之间达成的一项协议，支持将临时上调债务上限三个月与哈维飓风援助绑定在一起。这使得对美国政府债务违约的担忧大幅缓解。
特朗普总统周三称，他与国会领袖就美国债务上限上调三个月达成一致。如果共和党占多数议席的国会通过此议案，将避免美国政府出现史无前例的违约情况，10月1日开始的新财政年度的前三个月美国政府将获得资金支持，并为哈维飓风救灾提供援助。美债收益率受此消息影响上涨。
美联储已经制定了一项计划，通过缩减到期债券的再投资，缩减其4.5万亿美元的资产负债表，市场普遍预期美联储将在9月宣布开始缩表。由于债务上限协议的达成，美国国债市场未来数周料能平稳，将使当前的美联储政策制定者更愿意下个月开始行动。美联储下一个政策决定是9月20日，也将是费希尔的最后一个决定。
