欧银十月收紧，QE政策功成身退？
大多数经济分析师预计，欧洲央行可能在10月宣布削减每月资产购买规模，并料将在明年年底前结束该计划；不过欧元的走强可能令欧洲央行采取更加缓慢的步伐。
尽管欧元区通胀率目前为1.5%，仍低于欧洲央行略低于2%的目标水准，但在欧元区经济今年稳步增长的支持下，市场预计欧洲央行将削减刺激计划。
仅三周以前，略超半数的受访分析师曾称，欧洲央行将在9月宣布该事项；但在最新的路透调查中，仅有15位受访者预计欧洲央行会在9月7日的决策会议上这么做。最后还有五位经济分析师则认为，欧洲央行将等到12月再行动。
在被问及12月资产购买计划到期之后，欧洲央行可能会采取何种措施时，分析师一致表示，届时会延长该计划，但会缩减每月购买规模。欧洲央行目前每月购买600亿欧元债券。多数分析师预计，一开始会缩减至400亿欧元。
欧元区目前处于10年多以来最强劲的增长期。虽然和其他许多经济体一样，通胀率落后于经济成长，但最新的通胀数据好于预期。
这可能支持缩减购债，但欧洲央行目前正在应对欧元升值问题。欧元兑美元今年以来已上涨逾12%。汇率上升往往会压低进口价格，从而进一步削弱通胀。
但欧洲央行管委诺沃特尼周五表示，不应该过分夸大欧元上涨；欧元走势在历史区间范围内；欧元区失业率已经下降，但依然偏高；低利率政策显然有副作用；有关QE的事宜将聚焦在如何实施审慎的正常化进程，而非突然结束。
欧洲央行9月会议上可能以讨论资产购买计划的未来做为开场，但在本月稍后德国举行联邦议院选举之前，该央行料不会就此做出决定。此外，预计欧洲央行直到明年都将会一直维持利率不变。
分析师在研究报告中称，“在上次会议上，德拉吉依旧持鸽派立场，称不急于讨论缩减刺激措施，欧洲央行管理委员会过去也曾表明，如果通胀前景与欧洲央行自己设定的‘目标’不符，那么它将找到办法采取更多举措；“不过，对于经济转强、以及市场深信欧洲央行已经耗尽选项，导致近期金融状况趋紧的情形，他没有太多做为。”
