沙特国王废黜原王储穆罕默德·本·纳伊夫,并任命穆罕默德·本·萨勒曼为新王储。纳伊夫是沙特现国王的侄子,前国王的次子,而新任王储萨勒曼是现沙特国王之子。
这一消息公布后震撼沙特全国,萨勒曼成为未来王位的继承人。沙特官员随后表示,沙特国王作出此决定是因为遇到“特殊情况”,原王储纳伊夫向萨勒曼国王发函,表示支持此决定,并宣誓对新王储穆罕默德·本·萨勒曼效忠。
穆罕默德·本·萨勒曼此前是沙特阿拉伯副王储、第二副首相兼国防大臣。他是国王萨勒曼的儿子,年仅31岁就破格兼任国防大臣与国家经济和发展委员会主席,是沙特最高掌权者之一。
新任王储萨勒曼曾在2015年4月被宣布为副王储,同时还是沙特阿美石油最高委员会的主席,集经济、石油、国防大权于一身;其在去年上位后很快启动了大规模改革计划,试图让沙特摆脱对石油的依赖;目前他正在推动规模可能达2万亿美元的沙特阿美石油公司IPO。
值得注意的是,今年三月在白宫与特朗普会面的是萨勒曼而非纳伊夫,本次会晤在沙特国内广受赞誉。有分析称,萨勒曼经常被描绘成技术改革专家,致力于用超越石油产业的方法建设沙特经济。去年,萨勒曼访问美国硅谷,提出了市场指向性改革和沙特社会改变的愿景。
沙特分析家艾哈迈德·易卜拉欣在去年11月接受采访时曾称,“他(萨勒曼)代表着改变”。
据伊朗华语台报道,沙特国王废了现王储,打算把副王储萨勒曼扶上台,理由是现王储纳伊夫与卡塔尔勾结。鉴于沙特目前的局势变化,显而易见,纳伊夫已经从政治舞台上被边缘化。可以认为,发生目前这种变化的原因之一是他与目前与沙特关系出现紧张的卡塔尔埃米尔保持着关系。
根据亚洲的外汇销售交易员,在沙特国王废黜王储的消息传出后,杠杆基金同时紧盯美元/日元现汇和油价。周三亚洲时段,避险卖盘令美元/日元下跌0.2%至111.20,而布伦特原油期货下跌0.2%至每桶45.92美元。
